Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the NextForLab website. They are governed by Dutch law.

What these terms are not. They do not govern engagements for our services. Those run on our general terms and conditions, which we provide separately when we agree work with you. They also do not govern our applications. Each of those has its own terms, available on its store listing and inside the application.

NextForLab is a sole proprietorship established in the Netherlands, operating as a software development studio and an applied AI research practice.

02Acceptance

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may amend these terms with effect for the future. The version published here, carrying the date shown above, is the one that applies.

03Permitted use

You may view, read and share this website for your own information and for ordinary business purposes. You may link to it, provided the link does not suggest an endorsement, affiliation or relationship that does not exist.

04Prohibited use

You may not:

• use the website for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that harms others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or connected systems;
• interfere with the availability or integrity of the site, including by imposing an unreasonable load on it;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, including for the purpose of training machine learning models, without our prior written permission;
• copy, reproduce or republish substantial parts of the site other than as permitted in section 5;
• remove or obscure any notice of ownership.

We may restrict or block access where we reasonably suspect a breach of this section.

All content on this website, including text, design, layout, graphics, logos, source code and documentation, belongs to NextForLab or is used with permission. It is protected by copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights.

You may quote short passages for the purposes of reporting, review or discussion, provided you attribute them to NextForLab and, where online, link to the source. Any other reproduction, adaptation, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

"NextForLab" and the names of our products are trade names, and where registered, trade marks. Nothing on this site grants any licence to use them.

06Our products

This website describes applications we develop and publish. Downloading and using those applications is governed by their own terms and privacy statements, together with the terms of the app store you obtain them from. Descriptions on this website are informational and form no part of any product licence.

07Information on this website

We compile the content of this site with care, but it is provided for general information only. It does not constitute advice, and you should not act on it without taking your own advice on your own circumstances.

Content may become outdated, and we may change or remove anything on the site at any time without notice. Descriptions of services, capabilities or products are not a binding offer. They are an invitation to make contact, and any engagement is formed only by a written agreement between us.

We do not guarantee that the website will be available without interruption or free of error. Access may be suspended for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

08Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, this website. This includes indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit and loss of data.

This limitation does not apply where the damage results from our intent or deliberate recklessness, nor to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Dutch law.

If something on this site is wrong, or you believe content infringes your rights, write to contact@nextforlab.nl with enough detail for us to identify the material. We take such notices seriously and will respond within a reasonable period.

12Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. In place of the invalid provision, a provision applies that comes as close as possible to its intended purpose and effect.

13Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the use of this website, are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law designates another court.
